Second annual healthcare symposium a success

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell University Lundy-Fetterman School of Business and the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine hosted the Second Annual Health Solutions event on Thursday, Nov. 5. “Think & Grow Healthy: Solving Health Challenges Through Innovation” provided creative solutions for health challenges in North Carolina. The event enjoyed strong attendance from the local community.

The symposium consisted of five sessions, including a panel discussion and a keynote speaker at events divided between the Campbell Business and Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine campuses. Campbell Business Lundy Chair Dr. Boris Abbey served as the moderator, while participants included Fulbright Scholar Dr. Anant Kumar, North Carolina Hospital Association Director of Health Policy Erica Nelson, Polyglot C.E.O. Sims Preston, Mosaic Health Solutions Senior Strategic Advisor Jim Koger, and Duke University Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences faculty member Dr. Brenda Jamerson. Cindy Clark, president of ibiliti, delivered the keynote address.
