Relay for Life of Harnett County collaborated with Campbell University students to hold the second annual mini-Relay at Campbell University. The students chose the theme “In Memory of Dr. Norman A. Wiggins.” It was held on the Academic Circle on March 28. More than 40 teams made up of Campbell University student clubs, organizations, dorms, athletics, academics and departments worked together to fight against cancer. They had plenty of food items to sell and even had a face painter. They raised $31,108.07. Campbell still has one more fundraiser planned. A golf tournament will be held at Keith Hills on April 5.
