Seniors who contributed to legacy campaign honored at reception

Members of the Class of 2018 who gave at least $20.18 to Campbell’s Senior Legacy campaign were recently honored with a reception at the home of President J. Bradley Creed and Kathy Creed.

Though many more contributed to newly launched campaign, 13 students attended the reception on April 25, joined by the Creeds, Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement Sarah Swain, Annual Giving Director Tammi Fries and Annual Giving assistant Alex Baumann.

Senior Kennedy Stroud, a Student Philanthropy Committee member, spoke at the event, telling her classmates how her time on the Campbell Giving Call Team had given her a deeper appreciation for giving back.

“Your gift to the Senior Campaign marks the beginning of a new chapter for Campbell, where students are impassioned to give back and leave a lasting mark on Campbell’s ever-growing campus, even before graduating,” Stroud said. “None of [Campbell’s] growth would have been possible without the generous gifts of our alumni and Campbell friends. And now, you as well can proudly share that you have helped this beautiful campus grow.

“But it does not stop here,” she added. “Campbell will continue to expand and update in the future and knowing this is why I have and will continue to support and contribute to my Campbell family.”
