RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Assistant Dean of External Relations Megan West Sherron has been elected to the Wake County Bar Association (WCBA) and Tenth Judicial District Bar Board of Directors. A 2010 Campbell Law graduate, she joins Dean J. Rich Leonard, Assistant Dean for Administration Zeke Bridges and recently retired professor Margaret Currin on the board.
Deeply embedded into the fabric of Raleigh’s civic and professional communities, Sherron sits on the Note in the Pocket Board of Directors, is a committee chair for the Wake County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division, and has previously served as vice president of Wake Women Attorneys. She is also a prior member of the Capital City Clauses Board of Directors and is a graduate of Leadership Raleigh.
“I am very honored to have been selected by my peers to serve the local legal community in this capacity,” said Sherron. “I look forward to working alongside them and all association members as we continuously strive to improve our profession and legal representation across the county and district.”
A 2014 Triangle Business Journal Women in Business award winner, Sherron oversees Campbell Law’s alumni relations, career services, and communications and marketing departments, manages the Campbell Law Connections mentorship program which won a 2016 Gambrell Award from the American Bar Association, and serves as the liaison to the Campbell Law Alumni Association.
