Sherron named to Note in the Pocket Board of Directors

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Assistant Dean of External Relations Megan West Sherron has been appointed to the 11-member Note in the Pocket Board of Directors. The organization, which began as a family ministry in 2005, provides needed clothing to children who are identified by various schools and social service agencies in the community as impoverished or homeless.

Sherron, who graduated from Leadership Raleigh this past July, also sits on the Capital City Clauses Board of Directors, is a committee chair for the Wake County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division, and has previously served as vice president of Wake Women Attorneys.

“I am very excited to be a part of this special organization,” said Sherron. “I became involved with Note in the Pocket through Leadership Raleigh and saw first-hand the amazing impact that this organization has on our local community. I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members in finding ways to provide for area children in need.”

A 2014 Triangle Business Journal Women in Business award winner, Sherron oversees Campbell Law’s alumni relations, career services, communications and marketing, and development departments, manages the Campbell Law Connections mentorship program, and serves as the liaison to the Campbell Law Alumni Association. She is a 2010 Campbell Law graduate.
