Social Work student elected to national organization

BUIES CREEK – Braden Forbes, a social work major and senior in the Department of Social Work, was recently elected as Undergraduate Student Representative in the state wide election to the board of the National Association of Social Work’s North Carolina chapter.

NASW is the professional organization for social workers, and as the student member to the board, Braden will represent the interest of undergraduate education in North Carolina. This is the second time a student from Campbell has be nominated to hold this position and the first time in the history of Campbell University and the Department of Social Work that a student was elected to this office.
