“Star-Spangled Girl” opens this week at Campbell University

What happens when two men struggling to produce a “protest” magazine fall for the same woman- a love triangle and a failing magazine. The “Star-spangled Girl”, a comedy written by Neil Simon, opens at Campbell University on Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. in Campbell University’s Ellis Theatre in the Taylor Bott Rogers Fine Arts Center. The show will also run on Nov. 14, 19, 20 and 21.

Directed by Georgia Martin, assistant professor of Theatre Arts, encourages everyone to see the show.

“It’s a romantic comedy that most people will enjoy,” she said.

The student cast includes Matt Coleman, Jessi Ferguson and Logan Reumont.
