Stubbs & Perdue, P.A. to financially support moot court team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard announced today that Stubbs & Perdue, P.A. has agreed to sponsor a group of Campbell Law student advocates at the prestigious Duberstein Moot Court Competition for the fourth consecutive year. The firm’s gift will pave the way for the team’s preparation, travel and lodging as they compete, March 4-6, in Brooklyn.

“For four years now Stubbs & Perdue have made sure that our fabulous student advocates have a seat at the table for this most important competition,” said Leonard. “We are no doubt grateful for their continued support and belief in our mission.”

The Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition is widely recognized as one of the nation’s preeminent moot court competitions, promoting and recognizing the finest oral and written advocacy on significant issues in bankruptcy practice. Approximately 50 law school teams participate, making it the largest single site appellate moot court competition in the nation. The Duberstein Competition is well known for the quality of its judging. Advanced rounds are judged by New York-area bankruptcy judges and more than a dozen leading appellate and bankruptcy judges from across the country.
