On March 17, 2011, Campbell University invited students, faculty and staff to an outdoor ice-cream social to learn a little more about the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Over 600 people attended. Campbell University selected the Freshman Seminar as the QEP based on input from faculty, staff, administrators and alumni after a year-long study of student needs. The ice-cream social had t-shirts, koozies and pens with the CUFS 100 logo and website that were given to any student who could tell what they knew about the QEP. “It was very telling that the campus community is indeed quite informed,” said Jennifer Latino, Director of First-Year Experience. “I was extremely impressed with the information that the students knew about the program and the overwhelmingly positive feedback that current students shared.”
