The musical “Anne of Green Gables” is adapted from the books by Lucy Maud Montgomery. The story follows the adventures of Anne Shirley, a red-headed orphan who comes to live with brother and sister Matthew and Marilla. They had sent for a boy to help them on their farm, but Anne arrives instead. Despite Marilla’s misgivings, they decide to keep her. Anne is full of spirit, but comes to be part of the community, finally finding her dream of a home.
