BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business School’s Trust & Wealth Management program was heavily featured in the latest edition of the FIRMA Forum, a leading publication of the Fiduciary & Investment Risk Management Association (FIRMA). FIRMA is a strong partner of Campbell Business, and the Trust & Wealth Management program at Campbell Business serves as a national resource for banks and financial institutions to meet their staffing needs in risk management and compliance.

“FIRMA is recognized nationwide as the “gold standard” in the fiduciary risk management and compliance arena,” said Campbell Business Trust & Wealth Management Program Director Jimmy Witherspoon. “Our program being recognized by FIRMA as THE national resource financial institutions should turn to in meeting their trust compliance staffing needs is high praise indeed. We are proud to partner with FIRMA and grateful for their recognition of our graduates as being well prepared to meet the challenges they will face as they launch their careers.”

The feature extols the virtues of the Trust & Wealth Management program at Campbell Business, which prepares graduates to meet the financial needs of high net worth individuals by managing their assets and developing and implementing sophisticated tax, financial and estate planning strategies. Immediately upon graduation, program graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Financial Planner certification examinations.

Campbell Business remains the nation’s first and only institution to offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in Trust & Wealth Management.

In addition to the Trust & Wealth Management program feature, the publication also included an article on the Fiduciary Standard Rule by Somer Johnson, business operations manager and MBA director at Campbell Business. Johnson earned a master’s in trust and wealth management from Campbell Business in 2016.

Both articles are available in its entirety to FIRMA members at this link.
