BUIES CREEK — Jeffrey Turner of Pink Hill has been named to Campbell University’s Presidential Board. Turner is the executive vice president and COO of Murphy Family Ventures in Wallace.
Turner graduated with a degree in accounting and agricultural business from Lenoir Community College before attending North Carolina State University and Harvard Business School for Executive Education. Hehas served on the North Carolina Board of Agriculture since 1992, and also works with the Global Transpark Authority, University HealthCare Systems Board (Pitt Memorial), Coastal Bank Board and the Board of Trustees for Kinston’s Arendell Parrott Academy.
He and his wife Linda are members of Bethel Baptist Church in Pink Hill. They are the parents of two sons — Joshua, a student at Campbell, and Jacob, a junior at Arendell Parrott Academy.
