Novant Health Corporate Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer Michael Nnadi will deliver Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences’ commencement address. Graduation will begin at 3 p.m. on Fri., May 10 at the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center.
Dr. Nnadi arrived at Novant Health in 2006 quickly moving from regional to senior pharmacy director in just two years. He was promoted to his current position in 2009, where he is responsible for pharmacy services at Novant’s 13 hospitals located throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
Prior to Novant, Nnadi served as the Baltimore area clinical pharmacy manager for Kaiser Permanente, director of operations for CIGNA HealthCare, director of pharmacy at Southside Regional Medical Center, system director of pharmacy services at Riverside Health System, and pharmacy management consultant for Cardinal Health.
Nnadi is a member on several boards including the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Campbell University. He is active in numerous professional and community service affiliations and has received a number of honors including the Diversity MBA Top 100 Executives Under 50 Award in 2012 from Diversity MBA Magazine.
Nnadi holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland and a master of health science from Johns Hopkins University. He also completed an administration residency with Memorial Hospital in York, Pa.
