Campbell University announced Jason Wangelin as the new director of Facilities Management.
Wangelin, who officially started the position on Sept. 1, now oversees and leads the Facilities Management team that provides complete maintenance and repair services to University facilities including new construction, renovations, space utilization assignments, safety and compliance, work orders and preventive maintenance.
Wangelin has spent the past five years in Facilities Management working as the automotive service manager and the past three years as the assistant director. According to Sandy Connolly, vice president for business and chief financial officer, he has also provided leadership and facilities expertise critical to supporting the infrastructure and facilities of the University.
“Campbell University is fortunate to promote a talented professional such as Jason,” Connolly said. “He brings expertise, strong interpersonal skills and passion to lead the University Facilities Management team.”
