West elected Wake Women Attorneys Vice President

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving Megan West was elected Wake Women Attorneys (WWA) Vice President at a meeting of the organization on Thursday, Dec. 12. A 2010 Campbell Law graduate, West also serves on the board of directors for the Capital City Clauses.

“It’s an honor to be elected to this position by my peers,” said West. “I look forward to working alongside my colleagues as we continue to improve our profession for women throughout Wake County.”

West is joined by classmate Mallory Lidaka (Past President) on the WWA board. Campbell Law third-year students Anitra Brown and Emily Moree will both serve as at-large student liaisons to the WWA board.

WWA serves as the local chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys (NCAWA). The purposes of the WWA and NCAWA are to increase the participation of women attorneys in the legal profession, and protect the rights of women under the law.
