BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business Department of Financial Planning and Accounting Chairman Jimmy Witherspoon recently completed a northeast tour visiting alums from the Trust & Wealth Management program. Witherspoon visited alumni in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, Delaware, New York and Boston during the tour, touching base with more than 50 Campbell Business trust alumni along the way.

“This program is successful in large part because of the unwavering loyalty of our alumni,” said Witherspoon. “It is a rare week when I don’t receive at least one call from alums about an opening in their office.”

The tour, which marked the fourth time Witherspoon has ventured out to touch base with alumni in recent years, saw groups of six to 20 alumni network and spend time together at events ranging from Orioles, Phillies, Yankees and Red Sox games to a play on Broadway. Participating alumni were employed with JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Schwab and various investment houses.

“The placement opportunities for our graduates are just amazing, especially in the northeast.”
