World famous pianist Emile Pandolfi lights up Campbell’s Christmas season

Buies Creek, N.C.—Known for his luxurious arrangements and keen musicality, pianist Emile Pandolfi has developed an international following. Campbell University will present Emile Pandolfi in concert on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. in Turner Auditorium of the D. Rich building. Pandolfi will be joined by comedian Jim Sibley. For an additional $15, Concert goers can also enjoy a special pre-show buffet in Marshbanks Dining Hall.  Referred to as “One of today’s finest pianists,” by “Stereophile Magazine,” Pandolfi received his degree in Piano Performance and is known for applying classical techniques to popular music and Broadway musical numbers.

 “In addition to being melodically fulfilling, these songs usually contain meaningful lyrics and lend themselves to interesting arrangement,” he said.

Although serious about his playing, Pandolfi’s never takes himself too seriously and his performances are also noted for their warmth and humor. Pandolfi has been recording since 1991 and is a top-selling artist in the alternative music industry. His music is distributed primarily in specialty, gift and book shops across the country.

Tickets may be purchased for $5 for Campbell students; $10 for balcony seating; $15 for under balcony seating and $20 down front.
