Youngquist graduates from Leadership Raleigh

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

BUIES CREEK – Campbell Business Career Services & Professional Development Coordinator Lisa Youngquist graduated from Leadership Raleigh on Thursday, June 29. The exclusive nine-month program, organized by the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, prepares the leaders of tomorrow by establishing an in-depth view of community issues, developing leadership skills and exposing participants to community involvement opportunities.

“It never ceases to amaze me how much one can glean knowledge from another no matter what stage or station of life you are in,” said Youngquist. “Leadership Raleigh was the perfect opportunity to share what I know and to learn far more than I could have ever imagined.”

Leadership Raleigh participants meet and discuss issues with key community leaders. Participants study the qualities that make an effective leader, analyze individual leadership roles, and develop personal leadership styles and skills. They are then challenged to apply their talents by joining professional associations, civic clubs, public boards and commissions.

Prior to joining Campbell Business, Youngquist served as a business development manager for Accounting Principals, an organization specializing in accounting and finance positions. In her career, she has held positions as a human resource manager, operations manager, fixed asset trader, loss mitigator, educator, and coach. With these varied experiences, Youngquist brings a unique advantage in helping Campbell Business students and alumni connect with their desired career path. She holds bachelor’s degrees from NC State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
