Homecoming 2026 set for October 16-17
The Campbell University Alumni Association welcomes alumni, students, families and friends to the Creek Oct. 16-17 for Homecoming 2026, a weekend filled with opportunities to reconnect, celebrate traditions and make new memories together.
From celebrating distinguished alumni and welcoming a new class into the Golden Club to gathering at the Alumni House, enjoying the Homecoming parade and cheering on the Fighting Camels, the weekend offers something for Camels of all ages.
“Homecoming is the most wonderful time of the year in the Creek, and our Alumni Block Party is the place to be,” said Shelby Howard ’20, Director of Alumni Engagement. “Whether you are a new alumnus or a Golden Club member, Homecoming Weekend has something for you. I hope you will join me back home at our alma mater to make new memories with good food and good people.”

Alumni and fans can also show their Campbell spirit throughout the weekend with the official Campbell Homecoming 2026 T-shirt.
Homecoming shirts are available for preorder for $26 through Sept. 25 and will be available for pickup during the Alumni Block Party on Oct. 17.

Homecoming 2026 Event Schedule
Golden Club Induction Lunch
Homecoming 2026 kicks off with the Golden Club Induction Lunch on Friday, Oct. 16 at noon in the Oscar N. Harris Student Union Ballrooms.
Alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago will gather for lunch and fellowship while officially welcoming the Class of 1976 into the Golden Club.
All Golden Club members are encouraged to attend, while members of the Class of 1976 are invited to register to be formally inducted into the Golden Club.
Cost: $20 per person
Register HereDistinguished Alumni Awards Dinner
Campbell will celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of members of its alumni community during the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner on Friday, Oct. 16 in the Oscar N. Harris Student Union Ballrooms.
A reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the awards dinner at 6 p.m. The annual event recognizes alumni whose professional accomplishments, service and commitment exemplify the spirit of Campbell University.
The 2026 Distinguished Alumni honorees will be announced soon.
Cost: $30 per person

Homecoming festivities continue Saturday, Oct. 17 with the Alumni Block Party, held outside of the Cornelia Campbell Alumni House from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Alumni Block Party will feature live camels, live music, games, activities for kids, reunions, giveaways and food from Mr. Puebla Tacos, Curbside Cravins, Holy Fries, Sunset Slush and more!
It’s a chance to reconnect with classmates and friends while enjoying the traditions and spirit that make Campbell feel like home.
This event is free and open to all. Parking is first come, first served. Alumni and guests are invited to park in the Student Union lot (J-lot) or in the Convocation lot (C-lot). Additional parking is available throughout campus.

A long-standing Campbell tradition returns Saturday with the Homecoming Parade on Main Street.
The parade will feature floats, campus organizations, the Sound of the Sandhills and more.
Tailgate Town & Campbell Football vs. Towson
The celebration continues near Barker-Lane Stadium as Tailgate Town opens at 2 p.m., giving fans another place to gather before kickoff.
Fans can enjoy pregame activities in the tailgate lots between Barker-Lane Stadium and Stadium View Apartments, including food trucks, inflatables, yard games, music, face painting and activities from local businesses and organizations.
Kickoff for Campbell Football’s Homecoming game against Towson is set for 3:30 p.m. Single-game tickets, season tickets, mini-plans and parking for the 2026 football season remain on sale.
Campbell students with a valid Campbell ID receive free admission to all home Fighting Camels football games. Kids ages 12 and under can also receive free tickets while supplies last.
