Dean Leonard to assist U.S. Department of State in Namibia

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard will depart for Namibia this weekend to provide judicial expertise and insight following a change to the country’s constitution. Leonard will join a delegation from the U.S. Department of State for the 10-day trip.

Campbell Law ACLU, Federalist Society to host panel on innovation, privacy, property rights

RALEIGH, N.C. – Bioethics Defense Fund (BDF) co-founder Nikolas Nikas will join two Campbell Law professors for a panel discussion on how innovations in medicine and technology affect privacy and property rights. Hosted by the Campbell Law Federalist Society and Campbell Law American Civil Liberties Union, Nikas will join assistant professors Tuneen Chisolm and Sarah Ludington for the dialogue on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at noon.

Dudley, Smith capture ABA regional title

RALEIGH, N.C. – Second-year Campbell Law School students Mary Frances Dudley and Sloan Smith won the American Bar Association Regional Client Counseling Competition at the law school on Saturday, Feb. 14. The duo will now move on to compete against 11 other regional champions at the national finals, March 12-14, at North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, N.C.
