Dean Leonard to serve as panelist at 2016 Inter-Court Conference

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard will serve as a panelist at the 2016 Inter-Court Conference in Asheville, N.C., Sept. 28-30 at the Grove Park Inn. The conference is sponsored by the Conference of Chief Justices for the state appellate and federal circuit judges in the southern states. Leonard was invited to participate by Supreme Court of North Carolina Chief Justice Mark Martin.

Professor Lee to speak at Evolve Law

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Associate Professor Kevin Lee will present at Evolve Law, Thursday, Sept. 29, in nearby Durham, N.C. The event, hosted by Duke Law School, is a part of the Legal Innovators Showcase.

Campbell Law students seize externship opportunities throughout summer

RALEIGH, N.C. – Seventy-five Campbell Law students successfully completed 82 different externships throughout the 2016 summer. Second and third-year students took advantage of the opportunity to achieve meaningful educational experiences in the public-service environment, including nonprofit organizations, public organizations, law firms and with corporate counsel, at 61 different sites.

Campbell Law to welcome noted artist Rankin for talk, reception

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law School will host prominent Raleigh-based artist Bob Rankin for an artist’s talk and reception on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. in the law school’s Pope Foyer. Twenty-three works of art by Rankin have adorned the first floor walls of the law school since August and will do so for the remainder of the 2016-17 academic year. Many of the pieces were commissioned exclusively for the law school.
