RALEIGH, N.C. – Shelby Duffy Benton (L •85) was one of three alums to collect the Campbell University Distinguished Alumni Award this past Friday, Oct. 23, during a banquet as a part of homecoming activities in Buies Creek, N.C. Benton is the current president of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA), the first Campbell Law graduate to head the NCBA in this capacity. She served as president-elect of the NCBA in the previous year.
